We have become so accustomed to hearing preachers or expositors, as important as that is, that many in the process have abandoned the grand privilege of personally hearing from God’s Word daily. - Ravi Zacharrias

Day 84- John 20; Hebrews 12-13

Let's give Henry a break for today and just reflect on the moments we experience in these readings today.

John 20: Just the magnificence and magnificent sadness of Mary Magdalene breaks your heart.  But how wonderful to turn and see her son who gets to tell her, mom, I'm fine.  I'm with dad now.

And then we come upon Hebrews 12-13:  Aren't these our marching orders?  Plain and simple orders and some tips.

I liked these readings and they really emphasize where we are told, the Old Testament is for "learning from prior mistakes."  The New Testament is your direction, your training manual.

Have a great day!  Twelve weeks strong!
