This year has religiously been tumultuous for me. Am I Anglican or Episcopalian? What if I was Methodist or Presbyterian? I am going to the source and taking you along with me.
We have become so accustomed to hearing preachers or expositors, as important as that is, that many in the process have abandoned the grand privilege of personally hearing from God’s Word daily. - Ravi Zacharrias

Will You Join Me?
I have decided that I am not going to study anything this year except the Bible. As you see, the last two years have been consumed by this horrific test. I failed once and I do not know what the results are yet this year, but I am not studying for it again anyways. I promised myself that after the test I would devote the time I spent on that test to church. I am refining that a little and devoting the time to reading the Bible. I have never read it all the way through, have you? Join me in doing so. I found a handy little guide. I will try to write daily about my reading. I would love it if you would too! So, get your Bible ready, prepare your space and designate the time each day. Then, on January 1, 2012, join me in the first passage listed below. I'll update that weekly. Only good things can come of this, I am pretty certain of that.

That sounds like a good idea. Not a large time commitment for a big reward--spiritually, soulfully and interesting. I'm in.
